Adenco Construction was the electrical contractor on Msenge Wind Farm a 69 MW, 16 tower wind farm located near Bedford , Eastern Cape South Africa.
Adenco completed all the external electrical connections to the 16 wind turbine generators; the IPP Step Up Substations; Eskom Substations and 66kV Overhead Transmission line.
The EBOP works comprised of:
- 44km of underground 33kV Cable Network
- 33km of 66kV Overhead Line
- 12km 33kV Overhead Line
- Construction of 66/33kV IPP Substation
- Construction of 66kV Eskom Doringboom Substation
- Upgrading at existing Eskom 66kV Poseidon Substation
