Dassiesridge 67 MW Wind Farm 

Client : African Clean Energy Developments (ACED). 
Contract Value : R 404 million. 

Adenco Construction was the electrical contractor on Dassiesridge Wind Farm a 67 MW, 14 tower wind farm with BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) capacity of 135 MW located near Uitenhage, Eastern Cape South Africa.

Adenco completed all the external electrical connections to the 14 wind turbine generators; the IPP Step Up Substation; Eskom Substation and 132 kV Overhead Transmission line.

The EBOP works comprised of:

• 67 km of underground 33 kV Cable Network
• 18.5 km of 132 kV Overhead Line
• 8.5 km 33 kV Overhead Line
• Construction of 33/132 kV IPP Substation
• Construction of 132 kV Eskom Gringley Substation
• Upgrading at existing Eskom 132 kV Olifantskop Substation
