Adenco Construction was the electrical contractor on Msenge Wind Farm a 69 MW, 16 tower wind farm located near Bedford, Eastern Cape South Africa.
Adenco completed all the external electrical connections to the 16 wind turbine generators; the IPP Step Up Substations; Eskom Substations and 66 kV Overhead Transmission line.
The EBOP works comprised of:
- 44 km of underground 33 kV Cable Network
- 33 km of 66 kV Overhead Line
- 12 km 33 kV Overhead Line
- Construction of 66/33 kV IPP Substation
- Construction of 66 kV Eskom Doringboom Substation
- Upgrading at existing Eskom 66 kV Poseidon Substation
